We hope to encourage all families through what the kids are discovering and to support you in the significant role of raising children.

Our Children’s Ministry runs midway through the service. Children attend the service with their family at 10:00am and will be dismissed after the worship singing to Sunday school until the end of the service.

We have care and program for kids ages 3-7, and another for those ages 8-13. We care about discipling and loving kids through looking at Scripture in relational and creative ways as well as discovering with them how we can love and serve the church and community. The relationships they form in the church are significant in how they grow in faith and we seek to create a secure environment of support and joy.

We understand as a new or visiting family to ACC that some children will not feel comfortable to attend Sunday School/Nursery on their own.  Please know that at any time you are more than welcome to stay in the program with your child.

Sunday school is organized by Genya Dueck.

Yes, we offer an area parents to go with infants and small toddlers at any point during the service with places to nurse and toys set up for play.

Child Dedication is a testimony to the community of faith by parents acknowledging that their child is a gift from God. It affirms the parent’s intention to instruct their child in the Word of God, guide their child in God honouring living, and that, by the grace of God, they will lead their child to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The faith community will also support, encourage and pray in agreement.

If you are interested in having your child dedicated during a Sunday morning service, please contact Pastor Steve at pastor@abbotsfordcommunitychurch.com.

We seek to worship God through music, song, and dance as we respond to scripture by surrendering our lives to Jesus, submitting to his leadership and faithfully steward our finances. For more information about this ministry you can contact our administrator Cassidy Loewen at admin@abbotsfordcommunitychurch.com

Every person who has believed in Christ should get baptised. “Those who believed and accepted his message were baptized…” Acts 2:41

People at ACC get baptised because it demonstrates submission to the lordship of Jesus and is a command by him. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

We run a short baptism class (1-2 sessions) where you will invest time in discovering more about the what’s and why’s of baptism and we’ll have an opportunity to hear the story of your relationship with Jesus. We will also make arrangements for when you could be baptized. For more information or if you are interested in getting baptized you can contact the pastor at pastor@abbotsfordcommunitychurch.com.

Prayer informs the decisions of the church and our commitment is to seek God’s wisdom to lead us. As we grow in learning to hear from God, we anticipate seeing him work in powerful ways that will transform our lives and the lives of those we pray for.

Join us for pre-service prayer every Sunday at 9:30-10:00am in the Upper Room.

Membership at Abbotsford Community Church is a commitment, a mutual partnership of people who are committed to the church but also to each other. Membership means you are on board with the mission and vision of ACC and you invest with your time, gifts and finances to see it happen in our city and the world.
